"Humanitarian"

If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat? --- old joke


i came across this photo from today's issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer:

How can an offensive military attack ever be humanitarian?!?!

To be fair, perhaps i am just not seeing the bigger picture here. Please correct me if i am wrong; i just interpret this as, "killing people for their own good"? (i do hope i'm wrong!!!!)

"Humanitarian" is a father kissing his son goodbye. Isn't it time we treat the rest of the world we treat our sons and daughters, or anyone else we love dearly?

"Oh," you might say, "but these people are my friends, my family..."

Exactly. It's high time we love everyone else.
