Many misunderstandings regarding the Bible and Biblical Christianity stem from taking verses out of context. Whether unknowingly or maliciously, the intended meaning may differ from what is perceived because a certain passage is magnified when the rest of the statement is disregarded or ignored.
The following passages marked in red are in danger of being quoted alone, while those in boldface make the statement more complete (and definitely closer to what God is telling us!). Of course, nothing beats reading the complete book, nay, the complete Bible! And always ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand what He really means. :) Blessed, happy reading!
