Now he has promised, "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens."[Haggai 2:6] The words "once more" indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. (Hebrews 12:26-27)
Soren Kierkeegard writes,
"Faith like Job's cannot be shaken,
because it is the result of being shaken."
i want that kind of faith :)
well, that's how i started to trust in God. (that's right, tsk, tsk, i only relied on God when i can't rely on myself anymore!)
my faith has been shaken time and again because i don't have much of it! i dwell too much on my problems, or on myself, and i forget to focus on GOD who's bigger than me and definitely bigger than my problems :)
so God, please grant me a photographic memory :) don't let me be shaken, and more importantly, don't let me forget Your promises and Your answers to my pleas :) in the name of Jesus, i believe :) :) :)
